NASA's Juno spacecraft has a detailed encounter with Jupiter
A large number of swirling clouds within the dynamic temperate north-north belt of Jupiter is captured on this picture from NASA's Juno spacecraft. Within the scene, a number of vibrant white "pop-up" clouds in addition to a excessive stress storm, referred to as a white oval, seem.
This color-enhanced picture was taken at four:58 p.m. EDT on October 29, 2018, because the spacecraft made its 16th shut flyby of Jupiter. On the time, Juno was about four,400 miles from the tops of the planet's clouds, at a latitude of about 40 levels north.
Citizen scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran created this picture utilizing information from the spacecraft JunoCam imager.
